This 2026 BMW M8 Competition came to Velocity Factor for the full treatment: better looks, more power, better reliability — and brake pads that don’t dust up the next day after you wash the car. Here’s everything that went into this build:
- Dinan Red ignition coils with upgraded NGK spark plugs. Gapped tighter than stock for a stronger, more consistent spark under boost — more power and better reliability from the S63.
- Dinan carbon fiber airboxes and inlets. Freer-flowing induction that looks as serious as it performs every time the hood opens.
- Hawk ceramic high-performance brake pads, front and rear. Strong, consistent stopping power with dramatically less brake dust — the wheels stay clean long after a wash.
- Brake calipers refinished from black to gloss red with M logos. Sealed with multiple layers of clear coat for a clean, durable look.
- Wheels refinished from black to Brilliant Silver. A complete character change for the car, exactly the way the owner wanted it, finished with M-logo center caps.
- Fully custom carbon fiber steering wheel. Supplied and installed by Velocity Factor.
Power and Reliability
Under the hood, we installed Dinan carbon fiber airboxes and inlets along with Dinan Red ignition coils and upgraded NGK spark plugs gapped tighter than stock. Sharper response, a stronger spark under load, and induction hardware that looks the part every time the hood opens.
Braking, Upgraded Twice Over
We pulled the wheels and refinished the calipers from black to gloss red, added M logos, and sealed everything with multiple layers of clear coat. Behind them, Hawk ceramic high-performance pads went in front and rear — the difference in brake dust alone is something you notice the very next wash.
Wheels Reimagined
The owner wanted the wheels taken from black to Brilliant Silver, and that’s exactly what they got — a complete refinish with close attention to the small M-logo center caps. Against the gray paint and red calipers, the silver completely changes the car’s character.
Interior Touch
To finish the build, we supplied and installed a totally custom carbon fiber steering wheel. It elevates the cabin and ties the interior to the car’s performance focus.
