Trond is one of those customers every shop loves working with. He’s extremely particular about his cars, and when he took delivery of a brand-new BMW M8 Competition, he didn’t wait. He brought it straight to our shop to protect it and begin transforming it into something uniquely his.
- Protection First
The first order of business was a full polish followed by a high-quality ceramic coating. This gave the factory paint a deep, glossy finish and a strong layer of protection right from day one. - Brakes That Stand Out
Next, we pulled the wheels and refinished the calipers in a rich Brembo red. We added M decals and sealed everything with multiple layers of clear coat for a clean, durable look that matches the performance character of the M8. - Performance Upgrades
With the exterior protection and brake details handled, we moved under the hood. We installed a full Diamond air intake system along with upgraded ignition coils and applied their Stage 1 tune. The result was sharper response and a more engaging driving experience that Trond could feel immediately.
After this first round of work, Trond picked up the car, very happy with the results, but he wasn’t finished. He soon brought the M8 back for further personalization.
- Wheels Reimagined
We refinished the wheels in a brilliant silver finish exactly the way he wanted, paying close attention to the small M-logo center caps. Once the wheels had fully dried and cured, we ceramic coated them inside and out, and we also coated the brakes for added protection and a finished look. - Interior Touch
We removed the original steering wheel and installed the one Trond had ordered through us — a real carbon fiber wheel paired with a beautiful Alcantara airbag cover. The combination elevates the cabin and ties the interior to the car’s performance focus. - Final Service
To complete the visit, we performed the car’s first oil change and routine maintenance, including new cabin filters, so everything was fresh and ready for the road.
Trond left once again very pleased with the finished product. The M8 Competition now carries the protection, performance upgrades, and personal details he wanted from the start, executed with the attention to detail he expects.
