This Porsche 2004 911 Carrera 4S came to us for a suspension upgrade. The US spec suspension on the 996 Carrera 4S is compromised to maintain a balance between performance and comfort. The owner of this 996 not only wanted to improve on the handling but also to have the option to make adjustments to suit his driving style.  A coilover suspension system is the best solution for this instance. With this suspension system the owner will have varying degrees of adjustments. Ride height and suspension firmness are the two main reasons this suspension is highly recommended for Porsche owners. For any 911, only the best will do.  We installed H&R Street Performance Coilovers Suspension. Like the 911, this suspension is designed, road tested and manufactured in Germany. A comfortable ride without any sacrifice in performance is one of the core values for the Street Performance Coilover Suspension system from H&R.

Experienced professional installation is critical when installing a coilover suspension system. Even more so on a high performance vehicle with a rear engine layout like the 911. This sophisticated type of suspension needs to be adjusted and dialed in properly. All bolts need to be tightened to factory torque specs.  Velocity Factor is an H&R Factory Authorized dealer with years of experience installing performance products. With a lowered suspension this Carrera 4S will resemble one of it’s GT3 RS cousins racing at various racetracks around the world. For an added style enhancement, we installed a 996 Turbo spec front air dam. This air damn helps with the aerodynamic efficiency of the 996 by giving it better stability at higher speeds.
