Our customer researched us and came in wanting to customize his new 2014 Tesla P85 (Model S), we were amazed how smooth and powerful the car drove, there was absolutely no sound whatsoever when cruising an incredible interior and lots of wow features! Velocity Factor offered our customer a very simple and effective modification for a cleaner, custom and stylish appearance. Here at Velocity Factor, one of the things we do to make your car look its best is Custom Brake Caliper Painting. When done properly, professional brake caliper painting is a long and intricate procedure that requires a lot of attention to detail and patience.
We start with a detailed cleaning of the caliper, and then we meticulously tape off everything so paint only goes where it’s supposed to. Next we scuff the caliper so that the paint sticks, but not too much that it will show. It is a fine balance. Next we spray high temp primer let it dry and after a light coat of paint. We let it dry then add a heavy coat of paint. Next we added the Original Tesla Logos back on the Brembo calipers, followed by a nice clear coat finish to keep the calipers’ paint glossy, protect and make it last a long time. Painting your Brake Caliper gives your car a nice custom, stylish and professional look that stands out from the crowd.
