What a unique build we had on our hands! We had a first-time client with a 2011 Saab 9-3 Aero Sedan who was new to the car scene and wanted a little more “go” for his daily commute. 
As with most turbocharged vehicles, the factory exhaust system can be extremely restrictive and should be the first component of the vehicle to be addressed. The car was given a custom fabricated 3″ stainless steel catback exhaust system and downpipe while the factory filter was replaced with a K&N unit for better filtration. The car was then later tuned with the appropriate software. 
To monitor boost pressure under load, Velocity Factor installed a Defi Racer Series Electronic Boost Gauge Kit. 
The oversized aftermarket front-mount intercooler was perhaps the most arduous task. This is because it’s to be placed directly between the factory air conditioning condenser and the factory radiator. Of course, no job is impossible for the Velocity Factor team. 
Finally, the car was lowered on H&R Sport Lowering Springs for excellent handling and a dramatic lowered look for the Saab while avoiding compromise of the vehicle’s handling characteristics.
