AWE Tuning
AWE Tuning Audi RS3 / TT RS S-FLO Open Carbon Fiber Intake
Real induction noise from the five-cylinder, with a carbon airbox that looks factory. Fits 8V and 8Y.
Audi RS3 platform build guide · 8V 2017–2020 · 8Y 2022+ · 2.5 TFSI
Four hundred horsepower, quattro and the only five-cylinder turbo you can buy new: the RS3 is a sports sedan that punches far above its size, and a car that rewards a plan. Whether you drive an 8V or the current 8Y, this is our opinionated stage 1, 2 and 3 parts list: real parts we stock, chosen to work together, installed and aligned in-house in Coral Springs.

The right RS3 parts list depends on the outcome, not the forum meta of the month. Pick the way you actually drive and we’ll show you the stage that fits.
Five-cylinder warble you can actually hear, sharper stance and response without touching the tune.

Stage 1 on an RS3 is about waking the car up without complicating it: a carbon intake that lets you hear the five-cylinder breathe, a cat-back that gives the 2.5 TFSI its warble back (the factory system is far too polite), and springs that fix the fender gap on a quattro chassis that deserves better. No tune required, and everything here supports the next stage instead of getting replaced by it.
AWE Tuning
Real induction noise from the five-cylinder, with a carbon airbox that looks factory. Fits 8V and 8Y.
AWE Tuning
Our go-to 8V cat-back. Aggressive at full throttle, civil in cruise.
AWE Tuning
The same Track Edition system engineered for the 8Y chassis.
MBRP
The value 8V cat-back with carbon tips. Stainless, 3in, no drone.
H&R
Kills the 8V fender gap and works with the factory magnetic ride.
H&R
The clean OEM+ drop for 8Y cars on RS sport suspension with DCC.
Stage 2 · RS3 stage 2 parts list
A real RS3 stage 2 is a tune plus the hardware that lets it work: a larger turbo inlet so the 2.5 TFSI can breathe at higher boost, a closed carbon airbox that keeps intake temps down in Florida heat, valved exhaust hardware that stops the tuned car droning on the highway, and a steel flywheel so the DCT survives the extra torque. Downpipes and upgraded intercoolers for the RS3 aren’t in our online catalog yet — we source and install them; tell us the car and we’ll quote the complete package.
AWE Tuning
The 4in turbo inlet coupler that opens up the restrictive factory inlet.
AWE Tuning
Closed airbox version for tuned cars: keeps intake temps down once the boost goes up.
AWE Tuning
Adds valves to the 8Y Track Edition so a tuned car can still cruise quietly.
Akrapovic
Control the 8Y exhaust valves on demand instead of letting the ECU decide.
Clutch Masters
A steel flywheel for the DCT. Cheap insurance once the torque goes up.
EBC
More power needs more pad. Street-friendly compound with real bite for the 8Y.
Stage 3 · track prep parts list
Quattro makes an RS3 quick out of any corner. What decides your track day is whether it stops and turns on lap eight the way it did on lap one on a nose-heavy car. Our stage 3 list is coilovers that work with the factory adaptive dampers, slotted and two-piece rotors that survive repeat heavy stops, a real track pad, and sway bars that dial out the understeer the car ships with. Big-turbo and built-motor work beyond this is a custom conversation with the shop.
H&R
Damping-adjustable coilovers for 8V cars without magnetic ride.
KW
Electronically adjustable KWs that keep the 8Y’s factory damper control working.
GiroDisc
Slotted two-piece fronts for the 8V. Less heat, less unsprung weight.
GiroDisc
The same GiroDisc setup engineered for the 8Y.
EBC
A real track compound. Swap in for events, swap back for the street.
H&R
Front and rear bars that dial out the understeer the 8Y ships with.
Show & stance
Every RS3 runs 5x112, which opens the door to BBS, RAYS, Vossen and the rest of the premium catalog in the 19in sizes the car wears best. We spec wheels, tires, drop and alignment as one package, mounted on scratch-free equipment and Road Force balanced in-house, with the offset done right so the arches fill without rubbing at full lock.

Installed in-house
Everything on this page can be installed, fabricated around and aligned in our own shop. Inlets and intakes go on with the sensors and couplers seated properly, exhaust and valve hardware gets fitted so the tips sit square, DCT flywheel work is done with the right tooling, and every suspension change ends on our Hunter alignment system so the car drives the way the parts list promised.
Downpipes, intercoolers and ECU/TCU calibration for the 2.5 TFSI are things we source and install for RS3 customers directly rather than list online. If your stage 2 plan needs them, send the car details below and we’ll quote the complete package with installation.
Talk to the shop
Send the year and generation, what’s already done to the car, and which path above fits how you drive. We’ll come back with a concrete parts list and installation plan, in the right order for your budget.
No generic answers. We review the details first.
RS3 questions
A tune plus the supporting mods that let it work: a larger turbo inlet so the 2.5 TFSI can breathe at higher boost, a closed intake to keep intake temps down, a downpipe and usually an upgraded intercooler, and driveline hardware like a steel DCT flywheel. The downpipe and intercooler aren’t in our online catalog yet; we source and install them as part of the package.
Some. Both use the 2.5 TFSI five-cylinder, so intake and turbo-inlet parts often fit both, but exhausts, springs, coilovers and rotors are generation-specific. That’s why our lists above call out which cars each part fits. Send us your exact car and we’ll map the list to it.
No. Our stage 1 list is intake, cat-back exhaust and springs — all of it works on the stock calibration, and none of it gets thrown away when you move to stage 2 later.
We install them, but past bolt-on stage 2 the right answer depends on fuel, the DCT, cooling and how you actually use the car. That’s a conversation with the shop, not an add-to-cart decision. Our stage 3 list focuses on what every fast RS3 needs regardless: suspension and brakes.
Yes. Every part on this page can be installed in our Coral Springs shop, and suspension work is finished on our Hunter alignment system. We serve enthusiasts across South Florida, from Boca Raton and Parkland to Fort Lauderdale and Miami.
