Audi RS6 & RS7 platform build guide · C7 · C8 · 4.0 TFSI · 2014–2026
A twin-turbo 4.0 TFSI V8, quattro and enough room for the whole family: the RS6 Avant and RS7 are the fast Audis that do everything, and two generations of them share one engine and one set of habits. Whether you have a C7 RS7 or a current C8 RS6 or RS7, this is our opinionated stage 1, 2 and 3 parts list: real parts we stock, chosen to work together, installed and aligned in-house in Coral Springs.

Start here
The right RS6 or RS7 parts list depends on the outcome, not the forum meta of the month. Pick the way you actually drive and we’ll show you the stage that fits.
Sport springs that fix the factory gap, a street pad with better bite from cold, stainless lines and a carbon intake for the C7. No tune, no drama.

Stage 1 on an RS6 or RS7 is about fixing what Audi left on the table without touching the calibration: sport springs that close the fender gap on cars with the coil-sprung RS sport suspension, a street pad with real bite from cold for the iron brakes, stainless lines for a firmer pedal, and a carbon intake that lets you hear the C7’s V8 breathe. There is no C8 intake in our online catalog yet; we source and install it. Everything here carries forward to stage 2 instead of getting replaced by it.

Stage 2 · RS6 & RS7 stage 2 parts list
A real 4.0 TFSI stage 2 is a tune plus the hardware that lets it work: a valved cat-back so the V8 is loud when you want and civil on the turnpike, an intercooler that holds charge temps down in South Florida heat, springs or a height-adjustable kit that put the ride height where the bigger wheels want it, and a rear pad that keeps up with the front once the car is quicker. Downpipes and calibration for the 4.0 TFSI aren’t in our online catalog; we source and install them, so tell us the car and we’ll quote the complete package.
AWE Tuning
AWE SwitchPath for the C8 RS6 and RS7: valved, loud on demand, quiet in cruise.

Stage 3 · track prep parts list
Quattro and 600 horsepower make an RS6 or RS7 quick out of any corner. What decides your track day is whether more than two tons stops and turns on lap eight the way it did on lap one, with Florida heat in the brakes. Our stage 3 list is a damping-adjustable coilover for the C8, the KW module that keeps a C7 coilover conversion free of warning lights, race pads on both axles and lightweight rotors. Big-turbo work beyond this is a custom conversation with the shop.

Show & stance
Every RS6 and RS7 runs 5x112 with a 66.5mm bore, which opens the door to BBS, RAYS, Vossen and the rest of the premium catalog in the 21in and 22in sizes these cars wear best. We spec wheels, tires, drop and alignment as one package, mounted on scratch-free equipment and Road Force balanced in-house, with the offset done right so the flared arches fill without rubbing under compression on a car this heavy.
Installed in-house
Everything on this page can be installed, set up and aligned in our own shop. Springs and coilovers go on with the ride height corner-weighted and the car’s adaptive system either kept working or cancelled properly with the right module, pads and rotors get bedded on a car that weighs over two tons, and every suspension change ends on our Hunter alignment system so the car tracks straight and stops square instead of wandering under braking.
Downpipes, C8 intakes, C7 coilovers, air-suspension lowering modules and ECU/TCU calibration for the 4.0 TFSI are things we source and install for RS6 and RS7 customers directly rather than list online. If your plan needs them, send the car details below and we’ll quote the complete package with installation.
Talk to the shop
Send the generation and body, what’s already done to the car, and which path above fits how you drive. We’ll come back with a concrete parts list and installation plan, in the right order for your budget.
No generic answers. We review the details first.
RS6 & RS7 questions
It depends on what the car came with. The springs, spring kits and coilover on this page are for cars on the coil-sprung RS sport suspension with Dynamic Ride Control, and the KW module handles the damper electronics on a C7 conversion. Cars on adaptive air suspension need a lowering module instead, which we source and install. Tell us which setup your car has and we’ll map the list to it.
The engine, yes; the chassis, no. Both generations run the 4.0 TFSI V8, but springs, coilovers, exhausts and brake pads are generation-specific. The C8 RS6 Avant and RS7 Sportback share almost everything, so a part listed under one usually fits the other. Our lists call out which cars each part fits; send us your exact car and we’ll confirm before anything is ordered.
No. Our stage 1 list is springs, pads, lines and the C7 intake — all of it works on the stock calibration, and none of it gets thrown away when you move to stage 2 later.
We install all of it, but downpipes, C8 intakes and ECU/TCU calibration for the 4.0 TFSI aren’t listed in our online catalog. They are shop-quoted parts. The pads on this page are for the iron brakes; if your car has the carbon-ceramic option, send the details and we’ll price the right pads with the rest of the package.
Yes. Every part on this page can be installed in our Coral Springs shop, and suspension work is finished on our Hunter alignment system with corner weighting when the car calls for it. We serve enthusiasts across South Florida, from Boca Raton and Parkland to Fort Lauderdale and Miami.
